When orders are manually planned, the system will send notifications to inform irrigators of the status of their orders and to alert them to any actions they need to take.

# Subscribing to Notifications

You can configure your default notification preferences on your [https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CC/pages/2071986177](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CC/pages/2071986177) page (although you may be subscribed to some notification types automatically).

You can also configure pending notifications for specific orders during the ordering process or on the [Order Details](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CC/pages/1993801782) page. If you don’t configure order-specific notifications the system will use your default notification preferences.

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ You can also see any notifications you receive in the Messages section on the Order Details page for an order.

# Order Notifications

You should receive the following notifications for an order:

> ℹ️ **Notes**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ All notifications will also include contact details for the Operations team.

## Order Scheduled and Confirmation

After you place an order it will be submitted to a planner for scheduling. The planner will schedule the orders for the next delivery period. As soon as the plan is published you will receive a notification telling you the time range within which your order will start and you can log into CustomerConnect to confirm your order.

You can confirm orders from the Orders List or on the Order Details screen. See [Confirming an Order](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CC/pages/2017361997/Confirming+Orders+and+Adding+Orders+to+the+Waitlist#Confirming-an-Order) for more details. When you confirm your order the status will change from *Unconfirmed* to *Confirmed* and it will be scheduled for delivery within the notified time period.

## Order Starting

This reminder notification is sent before the deadline for confirming your order so that you can confirm the order if you have not already done so. The notification will also include these details:

- The expected start time of your order.
- The deadline before which you need to confirm the order (if you haven’t already confirmed it).
- The contact details of the irrigator with the upstream order from yours (if there is one).

## Confirmation Expired

If you do not confirm your order before the deadline you will receive a notification that you have missed the deadline and your order will not be delivered.

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ A planner may still be able to confirm your order for you. Contact the Operations team for help with this if necessary.

## Order Ending

This is sent to you 90 minutes before the expected end time of your order and will include the contact details of the irrigator with the next order downstream of yours (if there is one).

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ If your order is shorter than 90 minutes (or whatever the configured notice period is) you may not receive this notification.

# What happens if you have more than one linked order?

If you have multiple linked orders in a plan you won’t be notified of all the individual start and end times, you’ll just receive a start notification for the first order and a finish notification for the last order.

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ This assumes that:
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ - The orders were all lodged by you.
> ℹ️ - The outlets for the orders all share a common upstream regulator.
